Refund & Return Policy

To initiate a return, kindly reach out to us through official channels, specifically by email at info@floodmarine.co.uk or via our live chat feature.

Returns are applicable exclusively at our discretion, but are typically approved for common standard service components, including spark plugs, impellers, timing belts, motor oil, commonly ordered gaskets, and similar items. 

With the nature of our web site being a specialist parts site, it is expected that the customer has taken special care to ensure their items are correct for your engine. Any item purchased which is not compatible with an outboard engine is automatically classified as “special order” and is non returnable.

Many of the items listed are considered special order items and as such are non returnable. Example of these are as carburetors, gearboxes, cowlings, drive shafts, uncommonly ordered parts, and gaskets outside the standard range, which have been procured in error, cannot be accepted for return or exchange. Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Refunds or returns will not be processed for incorrectly ordered parts. 

In the exceptional circumstance that a product is determined to be defective, it is imperative that the return process is initiated within a 30-day period, in strict accordance with YAMAHA’s established parts return policy. Failure to promptly notify us regarding a received faulty item is likely to result in the disapproval of the return claim.

All returned items will undergo thorough examination by our team and, if necessary, by Yamaha, to ascertain the presence of defects. In the event that an item is incorrectly returned as defective, it will be returned to the customer. In such instances, the customer will be liable for the associated shipping charges, as well as an administrative fee of £25 + VAT.
